Two more days to go and no more books to read, next to that I find myself in a resort I would have never chosen myself. All there is to do is sun (too hot), drink (not a whole day please) or read. Hence I need to find myself a book. Quite often in the lobby of a place like this, one can find books that other readers have left behind. Even more often one can find books that are not worth the paper it is printed on.

So chick lit is about the only thing that is left. I try this book. A couple of hours near the swimming pool and it is finished. Entertaining at times, tiny smile funny as well, it kept me from having to sleep all day or drink all day.

The story in short: Alexandra Brennan decides to leave New York behind and will study in the north of the UK to get a masters degree. Plenty of culture shock obviously, even more drinking with the lads (Toby and Jason), gossiping with friends (Christina and Melanie) and a secret crush on Professor Sean. Throw in some annoying characters (George and Suzanne) and you get the idea.
